Today we go to the page number 54, Totally Culture Lesson.

It is called TOTALLY MARKET, following the unit's topic, here we are going to learn about some markets around the world.

- First of all watch the video about Tom.

- Open your notebook and write the date of today Friday 15 of  May 2020

- Activity 1.

Where can you try food before buying it? In the Farmer’s market.

1. Will (London)

Este es el mercado de Shepherd’s Bush en Londres.¡ Tiene más de 100 años de antigüedad! Tú puedes comprar comidad de todo el mundo aquí. Hay algunos paquetes de té de la Índia y tarros de mermelada inglesa al lado de aceite de oliva español. Tú puedes comprar falafels y comida nepalí (de Nepal). ¡Huele de maravilla!

Dan dice:

Me encanta el curry indio y los fídeos chinos. ¿Tú puedes comprar estos platos en el mercado?

2. Kate (North Walles)

My familia va a estae mercado el segundo Sábado de cada mes. Es un mercado tradicional de granjeros donde los granjeros locales venden un montón de cosas diferentes. Hay verdura, tartas y pasteles de frutas. Mi puesto favorito es el de queso. Tú puedes probar diferentes tipos sin pagar.

Nina dice:

Mmm! Me gustaría pastel de fruta, por favor. Cuando yo voy a un lugar nuevo yo siempre pruebo la comida local.

3. May (Thailand)

Yo soy de Bangkok y me gusta mucho el mercado flotante de Amphawa. Está a 50 kms a las afueras de Bangkok y la gente vende comida y flores en barcas de madera. Se llena mucho y lo mejor es ir temprano por la mañana. Yo voy allí porque mi tío tiene una tienda cerca del canal.
