Good morning! we continue with the lesson 2 of unit 4. Copy the date of today in your notebook as usual, please.
Remember: Use the ballpen when you copy and PENCIL when you do the activies.

I´m going to give you the explanations in English but, for those who need extra help, google translator can be used.

As you remember the main unit grammar is the use of COMPARATIVES.

                                                                  Use of comparatives

We use the comparatives to compare a characteristic between two people, animals, things, etc.
If the adjective is short (kind, mean, big, tall, ...) we only add "-er" to it

Ex: The queen is kinder than the king
       La reina es más amable que el rey

But if the adjective is long (generous, hard-working, beautiful,..) we use "more" before it.

Ex. The princess is more generous than the prince.
       La princesa es más generosa que el principe.

*Also we have negative comparatives in which "less" always must be used before any adjective (short and long).

Ex. The boy is less shy than the girl
       El niño es menos tímido que la niña

Nuestra nueva función se llama "Un cuento moderno". Tiene un montón de personjes familiares ¡Pero la historia es nueva! Es más excitante que las historias tradicionales.

Anbella es la heroina. Ella es muy trabajadora y amable y es fuerte también.

El príncipe Daring es el héroe. ¡Él es más divertido y más confiado que cualquier otro héroe!

Las hermanas de Anabella son menos generosas que Anabella. Su madre es más egoista que Anbella.

¡Descubre que pasa cuando el lobo se muda a su vecindario!
